Tooth - INVISALIGN

Straight teeth without the traditional braces

Invisalign is the new breakthrough technology that straightens your teeth without the hassle of braces to give you the smile you have always wanted.

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly invisible aligners. Whether your teeth are crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing braces, you will have a new reason to smile.

After an initial examination we will decide if Invisalign is right for you. If it is right we will take an impression of your teeth and using the latest 3-D technology customise a series of aligners. You then wear each set of aligners for two weeks, moving your teeth gradually until the intended result: is achieved: straight teeth.

Invisalign is comfortable because there are no metal wires or brackets. It is removable, therefore eating, brushing and flossing are no problem. You can still enjoy your favourite foods and smile without holding back. With Invisalign there is nothing to hide.

Five steps to straight teeth

Step 1: Your first visit - During the initial visit, we will evaluate, assess and discuss the course of treatment with you. Bite impressions of your teeth are taken with a series of reference photographs.

Step 2: Invisalign makes your aligners - Invisalign® uses advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to transform your bite impressions into a custom-made series of clear and removable aligners.

Step 3: You receive your clear aligners - During your next visit, you will receive your first set of clear aligners. Usually we give you a few additional sets to wear before your next visit.

Step 4: You wear your aligners - You'll wear each set of clear aligners day and night for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. On average, most people complete their treatment in approximately a year. You'll visit us at regular intervals to check your progress.

Step 5: Your treatment is complete - Congratulations! When you're finished wearing each clear aligner in the series, your treatment will be complete and you will have straighter teeth and the beautiful smile you deserve.

Take Care 4 uR Baby's TeetH

When will my baby's teeth appear?
Every baby is different. Generally, teeth start appearing between 4 and 7 months of age. You baby may be drooling more at 4 months. The first teeth to come in are usually the 2 front teeth on the bottom.

Healthy teeth are important to your baby's overall health. Teeth help your baby chew food and form words and sounds when speaking. They also affect the way your baby's jaw grows.

What can I do to help my teething baby?

Teething is usually painless, but it can make some babies uncomfortable and fussy. Giving your baby a cold teething ring or a cold washcloth to chew or suck on may help. Teething gels should be used carefully because too much is not good for your baby.

Teething does not cause a fever. If your baby has a fever, you should talk to your doctor.

What about breast feeding, bottles and sippy cups?
Breast feeding is good for your baby's teeth. If you give your baby a bottle, always hold the baby when you feed him or her. Do not leave a bottle in the crib. Do not put juice in a bottle.

Your baby can start using a sippy cup when he or she is 6 months old. Stop giving your baby a bottle when he or she is a year old. Do not let your baby walk around with a sippy cup unless it has only water in it. Do not give your baby a sippy cup of juice or milk in the crib.

After your child is one year old, give only water or plain milk between meals instead of other drinks. If you give your child juice or flavored milk (like sweetened milk products), only give it with meals. Juice and flavored milk have a lot of sugar in them.

When should I start brushing my baby's teeth?
Start cleaning your baby's teeth twice a day as soon as the first tooth appears. Until your child is 1 year old, you can use a wet washcloth or gauze to clean your baby's teeth and gums. At about a 1 year to 18 months of age, you should start using a soft baby toothbrush and a small dab of toothpaste that does not have flouride in it. (This type of toothpaste is safe for your baby to swallow.)

When should I take my baby to the dentist?
Be sure to take your baby to a dentist by his or her first birthday, especially if there is a high risk for cavities or any other problems with his or her teeth. It is better for your child to meet the dentist and see the office before he or she has a tooth problem

ALL AMERICAN GIRL

BY CARRIE UNDERWOOD

To be that good, it must be taxin’
No such thing as satisfaction
You’re makin’ things happen while I’m relaxin’
Like a Sunday afternoon
My dad used to tell me I was lazy
I got dance moves like Patrick Swayze
I’m the left over turkey for the world’s mayonnaisey
The star next to the moon

Now I know I’m just here to amuse you
And I don’t mean to abuse you
But if I could just use you one time

Tell me what it’s like
To be the queen of it all
The Neiman Marcus of the Mall
And tell me what it’s like to be the one and only
All American Girl

Now I never had a supernatural feelin’
Not to mention a sexual healin’
But every now and then I get to the kneelin’
To thank him for it all
But you probably got some inside connection
So many numbers that you gotta rolodex them
So much muscle that you never gotta flex them
To catch you when you fall

And I know I’m just here to amuse you
And I don’t mean to confuse you
But if I could just use you one more time

Tell me what it’s like to be the house on the hill
The number one diet pill
And tell me what it’s like to be the one and only
All American Girl

Now I bet you won’t say you get crazy
Or that you don’t shave your legs
When you’re lazy
Or that you’re just like everybody else in the world
You just got lucky, that’s all

And I know you’re not here to amuse me
But you sure know how to confuse me
So if I could just ask you once again

To tell me what it’s like to be a star on the rise
A breakfast cereal prize
And tell me what it’s like to be the one and only
All American Girl
The All American Girl
The all amazing crazy girl

F4 BACK..!!!! (~.^)

F4

Taiwanese boy band F4 release a new combined album, Waiting for You, at December 28 to support Taiwan tourism. This is their first album in five years.

The four members of F4, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Chu and Vanness Wu, were invited to act as spokesmen for Taiwan tourism and to sing the theme song for the tourism TV play Finding Love Here.

The play, starring Ken Chu and Vic Zhou, will be broadcast in Japan and South Korea to promote Taiwan tourism. Vanness Wu will also appear in the play as a guest actor.

Unlike other bands, the members of F4 have mostly worked individually since the band was formed in 2001, thanks to the Taiwan version of the TV drama Meteor Garden.

The new album includes two choruses and two solos by each member.

AUGUST RUSH

Is That Music We Hear or a Tyke’s Beating Heart?

By STEPHEN HOLDEN
Published: November 21, 2007

To describe “August Rush as a piece of shameless hokum doesn’t quite do justice to the potentially shock-inducing sugar content of this contemporary fairy tale about a homeless, musically gifted miracle child. August Rush (Freddie Highmore) hears music everywhere. Whether it’s the wind in the grass or the roar of a subway, the sounds of the world ar a symphony to his ears, and the movie’s soundtrack offers a Hollywood realization of a John Cage idea in which all sounds are music.

August, introduced as Evan Taylor, has absolute faith that music will mystically reunite him with his parents, who he is certain must be somewhere out there, although he has no clues to their identity. As we learn early in the movie, those parents — Louis Connelly (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), an Irish rock singer with a musical sweet tooth, and Lyla Novacek (Keri Russell), a classical cellist — fell in love at first sight and conceived him on a rooftop overlooking Washington Square but were kept apart by her conniving, ambitious father (William Sadler).

Months after their night of love, the pregnant Lyla is hit by a car and gives birth prematurely. In the most preposterous of the many ludicrous plot twists in a movie whose continuity is flimsy at best, her father forges her signature on adoption papers, gives the baby away, then tells her it died. Louis and Lyla abandon their performing careers and morosely search for they know not what.

In the meantime, Evan flees from a group home in New Jersey to New York City, where he falls in with a band of runaways living in the old Fillmore East Theater in the East Village. Here, Wizard (Robin Williams), the Fagin character in the movie’s “Oliver Twist”-inspired subplot, reigns as their cunning surrogate father who collects and distributes their earnings from panhandling.

When Evan, who has never touched a musical instrument, picks up a guitar for the first time and plays it like a pro, Wizard christens him August Rush, a rock-star-worthy name taken from the side of a truck, and seeing a potential gold mine exploits August for every penny he can earn. After the boy demonstrates the same talent on a church organ, there is no stopping his meteoric ascent. In six months he is conducting a symphony orchestra performance of his original composition on the Great Lawn in Central Park.

lyric from american idol's winner

                  evER evER aftER

by :Carrie underwood

Storybook endings, fairy tales coming true
Deep down inside we want to believe they still do
And a secret is taught, it's our favourite part of the story
Let's just admit we all want to make it too

Ever ever after
If we just don't get it our own way
Ever ever after
It may only be a wish away

Start a new fashion, wear your heart on your sleeve
Sometimes you reach what's real just by making believe
                        Unafraid, unashamed
There is joy to be claimed in this world
You even might wind up being glad to be you

Ever ever after
Though the world will tell you it's not smart
Ever ever after
The world can be yours if you let your heart
Believe in ever after

No wonder your heart feels it's flying
                        Your head feels it's spinning
Each happy ending's a brand new beginning
Let yourself be enchanted, you just might break through

To ever ever after
Forever could even start today
Ever ever after
Maybe it's just one wish away
Your ever ever after

(I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss)

Oh, for ever ever after

have a problem with crowded teeth...

History of dental braces

Do you think the braces you have around your naughty teeth are invention of modern man? You are wrong. It’s surprising that the dental braces used to straighten the teeth were used even before the era of Jesus Christ. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) says that archeologists have found some bodies of ancient man which had metal stripes weaved around their teeth and some were even around individual tooth. The living era of these mummified ancients dates back to 400BC!

The field of dentistry which deals with proper positioning of our teeth is called Orthodontics. Many people have taken interest in developing this field and it is said that even Aristotle thought about various ways to fix the deformation of teeth and filling gaps in between teeth. In early stages ancient man used catgut as the material for preparing braces. Catgut is a cord made from the intestine of sheep or goat which is good in toughness. As the world has changed a lot thereafter so has the materials used to prepare braces have.

During 1800’s catgut was replaced by wood, copper, brass and after some years by gold and silver. Even in this time braces were something which can be afforded only by wealthy ones. Gold and silver were naturally preferences of kings and royal people. It was important that the material used should be good to mould and take various shapes. Gold is good at it, but due to its high price it was marginally used. Later during 1950’s stainless steel braces were found to be more effective and were used thereafter. Now-a-days everyone can afford the braces and give attractive positions to their deformed teeth.

Today as every field is advancing so is Orthodontics. Better braces and applications are devised. Braces will be used further as they are one of the best solutions for teeth deformations and they will continue shaping your teeth positions which adds to your beauty.

Delon's new album Perasaanku

The Sweetest Gift from Delon" (2005).

Four Idols VOTED OFF on Feb, 21st '08

americanidol.com had the opportunity to do speak with the four Idols voted off during week one. Each of them seemed to face their untimely end on the show with grace, and opened up about what comes next for them.

Garrett Haley was asked whether Simon Cowell's comments were over the top, and his answer might surprise you. In fact, he said he found a lot of humor in what Simon said. He's happy with his fair skin and the way he looks, and, while it's possible the comments might have affected viewers, they really didn't bother Garrett at all. Now, his friends and family are another story, as Garrett did say that they were quite upset with Simon for what he said on the show.

Garrett was actually influenced by a lot of former Idols, and says that a big reason for him even trying out was his admiration for Ace Young, Chris Daughtry, and Elliott Yamin. While he didn't get to show much of his musical style, he did say that he likes "alternative pop" the most, but he also likes to infuse a little R & B into his performances. Despite the many comparisons to Leif Garrett and Peter Frampton, Garrett admits he didn't even know who either of them was at the time, and he had to look them up on the internet!

When asked about his lack of air time, he said that it, too, might have affected his fate on the show, as viewers might not have gotten a chance to connect with him as fans. However, he didn't let this bother him while he was on the show. He did say that he "beasted it up in Hollywood," and he wishes people would have seen more of that!

While Garrett says he was shocked by being voted off so soon, he will definitely keep singing. In fact, he's never even had one voice lesson. The best piece of advice he was given when on the show was just to be himself, and that's when he thinks he started to shine. As far as who will win this year, Garrett thinks that's a very hard prediction to make. As he said, "Every single person brings something different and unique to the table, and everyone's very talented."

Unlike Garrett, Amy Davis says she wasn't surprised by her early departure, as she really feels she had a few technical issues with her singing. Although she had a slight case of pink eye, Amy said she wasn't one of the unfortunate ones that was struck with the flu. As far as the most surprising part about "Idol" in general, she said that it was definitely how star-struck she was to see celebrities!

The toughest part of being on the show, according to Amy, was the pressure of realizing just how huge American Idol is, and knowing the expectations that come with each performance. She admitted to having some trouble channeling this anxiety. She said that the show takes it out of you physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally, but it's the biggest platform you'll ever get, so you have to put every ounce of energy you get into every song in order to get something in return. She doesn't regret the experience, and even enjoyed learning a great deal about what goes on behind the scenes.

As for the best advice she was given, Amy said Paula Abdul advised her to really know who she is as an artist, and she has really taken this to heart. In fact, she thinks that everyone planning on auditioning for the show should take the same advice into consideration. She also said that people should remember to stay true to who they are.

Joanne Borgella was asked about her past reality TV experience, as she was the winner of a show called "MoNique's F.A.T. Chance." She actually said that the two experiences couldn't even be compared, as only "Idol" involved singing. She explained that nothing can prepare you for the "whirlwind" experience that is AI. As far as being the last picked and the first one to go, Joanne still said she feels "amazing to be part of the Top 24" out of the thousands who auditioned. She feels like a winner, especially considering the fact that this year is being touted as the best of the best in the talent realm.

When asked about her comment about her voice not sounding the way people expected, she said that most people think that plus sized women will sing a sort of "neo-soul," and, while she loves that music, she really prefers Pop, R & B, power ballads, and dance/club music.

Many often wonder how difficult it is to sing that final song after finding out you are leaving that evening but, surprisingly, Joanne said "It was a beautiful moment." The hard part for her was actually leaving such good friends. She explained that after being under that kind of stress and getting that fatigued together, it's easy to form very strong bonds very quickly, which is what they did.

Joanne said that her life has already changed tremendously, as she's been talking to some huge media outlets about her experience. She also talked about how surreal it was to see herself on the AI commercials. The changes have all been for the better, and she plans on using "Idol" as a huge springboard. As for the future, Joanne is going to continue "dabbling" in modeling, singing, and hopefully a little acting. As she explained, "This opened like 80 billion more doors."

When asked about Simon's comments about his lack of a future in singing, Colton Berry said that "Simon's job is to be Simon. That's who he's supposed to be." Therefore, it didn't come as a huge surprise to Colton and, in fact, Colton said that Simon should remember that he was a part of picking the Top 24!

Colton doesn't plan on letting Simon's comments deter him from his dreams for the future. As he explained during the interview, his two big goals in life have always been to be on "Idol," and to be on Broadway. Now that he can check off his first goal, he definitely plans to pursue his Broadway dreams, and he said that his dream role would be Fiero from the musical Wicked. In fact, after finishing up with talking to the press about his AI experience, he plans on going home to assume his role as Director for a production of The Wiz.

Colton talked a great deal about the quick bonds that were formed while on the show. He said that they all always made each other laugh, and that most of them were like brothers and sisters to one another, calling the whole experience "so much fun." It's no wonder, therefore, that he wasn't able to name a winner when it came down to it. As he said, "This Top 24 and the talent is ridiculous," and he went on to call it a "level playing field."
